Spring

Kashmir experiences Spring from March to early may. The season blooms all the floors of the valley and makes it a carpet of flowers. The daytime is pleasant with 23 deg C and nights are mostly windy with the temperature drop down to 6 deg C. There can be scanty rains in Srinagar during this period.

Summer

It’s summer when people of Srinagar wear woolen clothes. In high altitudes temperature drops considerably compared to the day. Srinagar becomes a beautiful collage of green, yellow and orange. The beautiful rice fields, meadows and trees make it a place to relax your mind and body.

Fall

In September, Kashmir truly becomes a surreal land of beauty. Fall is the loveliest season when it’s all gold and red in Srinagar. The highest day temperature is around 23 deg C and nights are around 7 deg C. As fall takes control of Kashmir, you would need much thicker woolen cloths to beat the fall.  

Winter
